Dr. David Pico

Dr. David Pico is the Clinic Director of the Pico Family Chiropractic Center. He has been practicing for thirty years in New York and New Jersey.
An honors graduate of Life Chiropractic College in Georgia, Dr. Pico had the privilege of studying under and training with several of the profession’s top doctors. This high level clinical experience, combined with his deep appreciation and understanding of the principles upon which make chiropractic a uniquely distinct and effective healing art, has provided Dr. Pico the understanding and insight to help patients at the highest clinical level.
His experience, compassion and commitment to patient results has gained him professional acclaim thru the celebrities, athletes and Broadway theatre community who seek his care.
Dr. Pico is a member of the New York Chiropractic Council, The Association of New Jersey Chiropractors and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
He is actively engaged in ongoing health education programs for children and is a proud supporter of the Arts and Education.

Dr. Erin Lee, DACM, L.Ac., Acupuncturist
Dr. Erin Lee is a Doctor of Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine and New York State licensed acupuncturist. She graduated at the top of her class and received her Doctoral and Masters degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York. She is a member of the Acupuncture Society of New York and is board certified in Chinese Herbology, Acupuncture, Oriental Medicine and Biomedicine.
Dr. Lee specializes in neurofunctional acupuncture for the treatment of musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction, incorporating the release of active motor and trigger points. Her previous experience includes working with cancer patients at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Integrative Oncology Center, acute stroke and long-term rehabilitative care at NYU Lutheran Neurological & Orthopedic Rehabilitation, NYU Lutheran Labor & Delivery, Columbia Health Medical Center, Housing Works (HIV/AIDS) and in-patient care at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center.
Dr. Lee prides herself in always going the extra mile when it comes to her patient’s health care. She incorporates not only acupuncture but a combination of different healing modalities for the most effective outcome including herbal medicine, cupping, gua sha, tui na massage, e-STIM and herbal liniments. She also specializes in vibroacoustic therapy to activate major acupuncture points and meridians and to clear and reset the energy centers of the body.
All healing has a spiritual and psycho-emotional component that must be addressed with the physical in order to obtain the most effective outcome. Dr. Lee utilizes her working knowledge of the body to approach healing with both a scientific and energetic mindset to achieve optimal results.
Robin Harris Rickard, Licensed Massage Therapist
Robin Harris Rickard was extensively trained at the internationally renowned Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences in New York. She became a licensed Massage Therapist in New York State in 1990. For nearly a decade, Robin lived and worked between Tokyo and Shanghai where she studied with many masters including: Mas Oyama and Shihan Yuzo Goda of Kyokushinkai Karate earning her second degree black belt, Edward Obaidey, OMD of the Edward Acupuncture Clinic and Rajay Mahtani of Tokyo Yoga Circle.Robin was also a student at the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and a colleague of The Tokyo Childbirth Education Association with Elena Karplus.
After returning to the United States, Robin continued her training in birth work and became a doula (certified birth assistant) after studying with Penny Simkin of DONA (Doulas of North America). Working with labor and delivery nurses of The Buffalo Children’s Hospital, Robin gave workshops to expectant parents and seminars for healthcare professionals concerning the benefits of massage during pregnancy, labor and delivery. Upon moving to New York City in 1997 she again began her Massage Therapy practice, became an ISHTA Yoga teacher and student of Theta Healing with Eric Brumett. Robin’s continued love of learning brings her to work with world renowned dancers with Alvin Ailey, Brooklyn Nets in addition to Crossfit athletes.
Presently, between her New Jersey and New York City offices she continues to develop her skills and knowledge. The breadth of Robin’s intuition and understanding make her unique brand of bodywork something well worth experiencing. Massage colleagues, physical therapists, chiropractors and a host of other health related professionals seek out her expertise. Those individuals who are simply interested in wellness and feeling revitalized would also greatly benefit from this kind of work.
