Whether there are complications requiring intervention, prolonged labor, or unusually fast labor, the likelihood of an infant receiving more physical stress than he/she can accommodate safely exists.
Physical birth stress at this most delicate time when the muscles are not able to withstand much pressure can result in structural imbalances to the cranium, cervical spine, TMJ joint, or other areas of the spine such as the pelvis. These structural problems will in turn affect the function of the neuro muscular system.
