Hello! I am David Pico. I am a Cum Laude graduate of Life Chiropractic College in 1992.

Early on in my studies I was deeply moved and inspired by the history and unique philosophy of Chiropractic.

The principles laid out by the founders of Chiropractic were congruent with the Universal truths and principles of life itself.

The principles relating to the nervous system and its need to maintain a correct tone are of an innate intelligence that exists inside all living things that, through the process of homeostasis, coordinate and control vast genes of chemical and physiological functions to achieve one goal - health. Principles that contend that this time-honored, self-healing mechanism is truly the "best doctor" there is.

By combining a correct understanding of what health is, with the latest scientific analyses / methodology and a sincere passion for helping others I have achieved great results for the vast majority of my patients over the past ten years.

Biography

Dr. David Pico graduated from Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia with honors in academic excellence.

He has been in full-time private family practice for the last 12 years. A member of the World Chiropractic Alliance and the New York Chiropractic Council, Dr. Pico is deeply committed to promoting health and wellness to the tri-state community he serves.

Dr. Pico has gained professional acclaim by treating professional athletes, Broadway stars, numerous entertainment celebrities and is the team chiropractor for the New York Gotham Knights rugby club. He has been named official chiropractor of the 2006 International Bingham Cup rugby tournament and has recently accepted a position as an anatomy instructor at the prestigious Iyengar Yoga Institute in New York City.

He is actively engaged in ongoing health education programs for school children such as backpack Safety America, Straighten Up America, Chiropractic Career Day, and as guest speaker on health and wellness related topics in grades K-12.

As a board member of The Book Bank Foundation, a non-profit organization promoting literacy, Dr. Pico is focused on the success of children.

The son of educators, Dr. PicoÕs father was a school principal in New Jersey for 35 years who received the highest honor of having his school renamed Pico Elementary School in Belleville, NJ upon his passing. Dr. Pico has made a personal commitment to continue his family tradition through his chosen profession and gives his time and expertise to children with great passion and enthusiasm. Dr. Pico lives in Hillsdale NJ with his wife Sima and daughters Neekta and keemia.
